Cheyenne Lavene is a grammy-nominated musician and entrepreneur from Camden, NJ. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where she minored in music. Ms. Lavene contributed to her first Grammy nominated project in 2016 for Dr. Dre’s Compton album, in which she contributed vocals to the track ‘Deep Water’ ft Kendrick Lamar. Cheyenne was a featured artist on the song ‘9 to 5’ by the legendary MC Lyte,  and in 2016 began vocal producing, writing, and later A&Ring for recording artist and actress Zendaya. Cheyenne has performed as a background vocalist for Mariah Carey and toured with Korean pop sensation Tiffany Young. In late 2018, she released her first official single ‘Runaway’, followed by a self-titled EP. After connecting with the CEO of Def Jam Tunji Balogun in 2022, Cheyenne received her 1st major placement as a solo composer with the single “Heartbreaker” performed by DaniLeigh. Shortly after, Cheyenne’s latest self-released record ‘Psycho’ was featured in the Tyler Perry production “All The Queen’s Men”. In 2024, Cheyenne began working with multi-platinum artist, Yung Bleu — providing A&R services for his latest album, What Makes Us Human. She also wrote the album track “Rollercoaster”. More recently, she wrote and produced on “Thang 4 U” by Coco Jones. Well versed in the business of music, Cheyenne established a music management & consulting company The C Agency, which specializes in artist development and project management. She also initiated a community for women in music, ShyConvo.
